About Us

Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing - GH Dance

GH Dance was set up in 1994, by Gail Henry (F.I.S.T.D) who was then a newly qualified teacher.  With her 30 years of teaching experience, Gail regularly adjudicates for the ISTD, lectures and is involved in teaching training.

The school is a member of the Imperial Society of Teacher of Dancing (ISTD). Both Gail and her staff are fully qualified and all the staff are CRB-checked and fully insured.

The school now has over 350 pupils and regularly attends competitions and holds annual exam sessions for all pupils who wish to participate.

We have a successful competition squad which trains on a Saturday. The squad enters regional competitions which then qualifies them to dance at the ISTD National Dance Finals. Many of our pupils over the years have been crowned national dance champions.
